Breath Flow Exercise: Panting and Whinnying

Laura Panting with Hands on Ribs

If your “breath support” feels more like breath pressure, today’s exercise is for you!

We’re going to break up and energize the air flow so it can carry your voice up and out, freely.

To do the Panting and Whinnying exercise:

1. Put the hands on the low belly and pant like a big dog

2. Put the hands on the low ribs and pant like a little dog

3. Neigh like a horse

4. Make a nervous giggle

Now, carry that agitated, flexy air flow into your singing, and you’re golden!
